15000 So. Pipeline, Construction Management of 5-mile Pipeline
The 15000 South Pipeline is a 48” diameter steel pipeline connecting JVWCD Water Treatment facility in Bluffdale and the new Metro Water Treatment facility in Draper on the east side of Interstate Highway 15. The pipeline consists of lap jointed and welded pipe, control vaults, blow off stations, and crosses two highways, five canals, Jordan River, and two railroads. The services provided include inspection and construction management of half of every day of construction along with attendance to all construction meetings, onsite engineering, and review of change orders and pay requests. Inspection included pressure testing, pipe weld testing, cathodic protection weld tests, as well as record drawings and creation of operation and maintenance manual.
